We set the foundation
The TYPO3 Association guides, coordinates, and funds the long-term development of TYPO3 CMS.
We lay the groundwork for the TYPO3 Project’s strategic growth by empowering our community with infrastructure and guidance. Our decisions are always long-term oriented and consensus-driven.
Vision
We view the TYPO3 Project as so much more than a CMS. It’s a model that shows how vibrant communities, collaboration, and democratic decision-making can contribute to broader civic society.
Role in the community
Our role in the community is to funnel the income from memberships, donations, and events back into community-driven development and initiatives.
Relationship with the company
The TYPO3 Association and TYPO3 GmbH are partners; we sketch out the map, and the company executes on it. Together we make TYPO3 the CMS it is.

As the commercial and operational arm of TYPO3, we enable and strengthen the broader TYPO3 Community through partner promotion, professional development, knowledge-sharing, and support services.
